WITH reference to the letter What Rights? (News Shopper, November 16).
What rights did we have when we dictated to the Commonwealth, telling them all exactly what they could and could not do for years?
In India and Pakistan you will still find the British street names The Mall, Charing Cross and Express Road to name a few.
There was always a notice on the doors of the British clubs "Indians and dogs not allowed".
The churches are still there, and if you changed from Hindu to Christian, you could fill an empty belly. I know, I was there.
