I am writing in regard to the parking of cars across driveways. I live near two schools but it is not only those using the schools who park across mine and my neighbours', drives it could be anyone on any day and any time with no regard if a car is in the drive or not.

While I commend Bexley Council on this new regulation, the only flaw is if you sign up, then no-one (not even yourself) can park across the drive.

If your mum or friend or a delivery van parks in front of your drive they are liable for a parking ticket even your own car.

I would gladly pay a one-off administration fee to have an official badge stating "visitor" to be placed in the visiting car's window, thereby ensuring they did not get a fine.

I have had a fighting couple parked outside my house, young lads drinking beer, other neighbours' delivery vans and when you ask them to move some get quite uppity.

There has even been space opposite my house where there is no off-road parking.

It doesn't make sense and makes me rather angry especially if I wish to go out.

I moved to my house specifically because it had off-road parking.
