I would just like to write a few words in defence of Queen Mary's Hospital.

They get a lot of bad press which is why I am writing this.

I was recently in Huxley Ward and was treated with kindness and respect. Nothing was too much trouble. Also, while I was there, the ward was cleaned twice a day.

I was very impressed with everything I saw there and every other patient there said the same.

So give them a break, they are really trying hard.
