For Clive Efford MP to get the redevelopment of the old Coronet Cinema site on Well Hall Road, Eltham put on hold serves no purpose for the people of Eltham.
More supermarkets in Eltham are needed now the shops on Well Hall Road are not adequate for the area, which also includes estates of Rochester Way.
We have been waiting years for another supermarket in Eltham High Street, but Greenwich Council keeps refusing planning permission - why?
I thought Labour MPs were keen to see regeneration, development and new jobs created?
However, this clearly seems not to be the case for Clive Efford MP in Eltham. If work does not start on the building as soon as possible the building could be beyond saving and lost forever.
