On a visit to Bostall Library I saw another visitor parking two wheels of her car on the pavement.
I warned her the traffic wardens were quite hot in the area. All I got in return for my trouble was a dirty look which said "mind your own business".
On leaving the library I saw the person had been given a ticket. Did I laugh? No.
My advice to Mrs Lee is: read the Highway Code; have a thought for wheelchair users; walk the short distance from Ashbourne Avenue to the library; if you must use your car park in King Harold's Way; as you encourage your children to visit the library as often as possible you should have seen opening times are posted outside.
Finally, why do you expect sympathy from the library staff? You broke the law.
