Do you hate fireworks?
I NOTICED in News Shopper, Councillor Sylvia Malt urges people to be careful with fireworks when celebrating Guy Fawkes night and states "fireworks can be fun".
She also mentions some are extremely dangerous explosives which can cause serious injury, untold misery to animals and considerable trauma to the frail and elderly.
I am afraid Ms Malt you preach a lot of old rubbish.
How can you state fireworks are fun? For about a month before and a month after November 5, we are subjected to these loud explosives which sound more like bombs than fireworks.
Talk sense or do something about restricting the sale of fireworks until about three days before November 5 and then it stops.
