IN OCTOBER 2000 I was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Bromley and was hospitalised at the old Bromley Hospital. For my first five days of a one month stay I was in Stanley Ward/women's surgical.
No orthopaedic facilities and although very traumatised, I was subjected to a bombardment of bullying to open my bowels.
While I feel Mr Mendoza's complaint is valid, I have been treated on the NHS at Moorfield's Eye Hospital from 1992 and it employs contract agencies in the food/hygiene area.
If Princess Royal University Hospital wants to live up to it's royal title, it needs to learn from other NHS areas of excellence. Or, dare I mention it, get some of the SEN/SRN, bowel-obsessed bitches/nurses from Stanley Ward 2000 to brush up the bogs.
I remain still alive, sour as vinegar (That's what I use to clean my two loos in my home).
