WITH the summer finally here, there is no better time to make sure we are getting plenty of physical activity.
I am writing to let your readers know that as well as all the other health benefits, being physically active can help reduce your risk of cancer.
This is why World Cancer Research Fund recommends being active for at least half an hour a day.
But despite strong scientific evidence on this, many people are still not aware about the link with cancer prevention.
I want to get the message across to people in the local area that being active is something positive they can do for cancer prevention.
If they want to find out more they can visit our website at www.wcrf-uk.org
