I WOULD like to make readers aware The Children’s Trust is opening the first of its "new look" charity shops at 264 High Street, Orpington, on Wednesday, July 15.
There will be a wide range of good quality clothing and items to appeal to shoppers who enjoy a bargain.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our friendly team at the shop, which will open six days a week, Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm. Working days and hours are flexible, so we would love to hear from anyone who feels they can spare some time - even just a few hours a week will help.
For further information, pop in to the shop and speak to Elaine, the shop manager, or call her on 01689 824205.
For those of you who are planning a summer "de-cluttering", we would welcome donations of clothing and other items in good condition, including books, CDs, clothing, toys, fashion accessories, bric-a-brac and kitchenware.
The Children’s Trust is a national charity which provides care, education and therapy for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs and rehabilitation services to children with an acquired brain injury. Our charity shops are an important source of income, which helps towards enhancing the lives of some of the UK’s most severely disabled children.
