WITH the recent spell of unusually hot weather many want to use their barbecues to eat out of doors.

Very pleasant too, but could they not give a thought to the nuisance caused to neighbours in close proximity who may want to sit in their gardens in the cooler late afternoon or early evening.

I am an elderly lady who has been stifled recently by the acrid smoke caused by next door’s barbecue.

Please be good neighbours, think of others, no-one wants to spoil your enjoyment but keep the choking smoke under control and perhaps move your barbecue further away from the house.
