VERY shortly we will have volunteers shaking boxes on our street corners.

They will be hoping for generous donations from us to commemorate the brave ones who gallantly gave their lives for our wellbeing.

I am pretty sure if these brave ones could look at the state of the country today, they would think to themselves was the ultimate sacrifice really worth it?

We are an overcrowded country, with people with no respect for life and other people’s way of living.

There are thousands who have never done a day’s work in their lives and think benefits are a God-given right.

Children in this country are also out of control.

They know they cannot be disciplined or reprimanded and are aware they have the law on their side.

Disrespect is seen every day, with people putting their feet on seats on both buses and trains.

Swearing is heard everywhere and in all walks of society.

And not a week goes by without me witnessing acts of shoplifting while I am on my travels.

I feel sure there is going to be a big blow up in the country in the next few years.

I am truly glad I am on the way out and will not live to witness it.
