VERY shortly we will have volunteers shaking boxes on our street corners, hoping for generous donations from us to commemorate the brave ones who gallantly gave their lives for our wellbeing.
I am pretty sure if they could look at the state of the country today, they would think to themselves was the ultimate sacrifice really worth it?
We are now an overcrowded country, with people with no respect for life and other people’s way of living.
There are thousands who have never done a day’s work in their lives and think benefits are a God-given right.
Children are out of control, knowing they cannot be disciplined or reprimanded and have the law on their side.
Disrespect is seen every day, with feet on seats in buses and trains and swearing being heard in all walks of society.
Not a week goes by without myself witnessing acts of shoplifting.
I feel sure there is going to be a big blow up in the country in the next few years. I am truly glad I am on the way out and will not live to witness it.
