KEEP CLEAN: My wife is in hospital and seems to be recovering well but we keep hearing stories of people getting infections. I wanted to make sure this didn’t happen to my wife. There are simple things we can do. The most important thing is keeping clean. I wash my hands when I visit and ask nurses to wash theirs. This won’t work against superbugs but website patientpak.com has really good advice and products for killing superbugs.

CAN YOU HELP?: I am researching the life of Kenneth Findlater Campbell, who died in Beckenham in 1939. He was borough engineer for Huddersfield from 1897 until 1921. Due to his lack of descendants it has been difficult to find out much about him. His housekeeper Rachael Clough may have passed on information to her friends or relatives in Beckenham but I have been unable to trace her, hence the appeal.
