I READ with interest the story about childminders having problems with nappies being in bins for two weeks (Not Happy With Nappy Collection, News Shopper, September 23).

I have a similar problem with my grandmother’s incontinence pads, probably along with lots of other carers and elderly people.

I do not have the choice of going over to traditional nappies.

They can smell in summer and take up a lot of space, and since I am trying to clear out the house ready to sell to become my grandmother’s full-time carer, getting rid of rubbish has become a nightmare.
