Letter to the editor: For the readers in the London Road/Cotton Lane area of Dartford.
Ward Homes — which is building 192 properties on the old Stone House Hospital site in Cotton Lane — has purchased the proposed Fantaseas site on Bow Arrow Lane/Cotton Lane and is preparing a planning application for 155 houses on this site to be submitted to Dartford Council.
It equates to 192 properties on one side of the road and 155 properties directly opposite.
With all nearby schools full, the hospital inundated with patients, which planet do those responsible for granting planning permission live on?
The public have enjoyed the use of this open space for years and now it will be taken away.
The people who move into these properties will require schools and healthcare facilities.
Where do they expect these services to be provided when the present services are at full-to- stretching point?
