Mr Leman seems incapable of believing anyone could wish to protect public servants from crude abuse without having some concealed motive.
By his standard, only a serial offender would need to continue his attacks on parking wardens.
With the number of new vehicles on our roads exceeding those being scrapped, parking problems are bound to worsen and monitoring will become more necessary.
Parked vehicles deny the use of public road space to moving vehicles, mainly cyclists on inside lanes.
This process is similar to the selfish practice some poolside visitors have of reserving seats indefinitely by laying their towels on them.
