Letter to the editor: I have just read Gravesham Council leader Councillor John Burden wants to represent the Dartford West division at Kent County Council.
It is disappointing the Dartford Labour Party could not find a candidate who lives locally to represent us.
Having a councillor who lives six miles away in a different town is not really workable and would certainly not be fair on the people of Dartford West.
Is it not enough for him to be the leader of Gravesham Council?
We want a Labour candidate who lives in Dartford.
