Letter to the editor: I write with regard to a letter responding to the article Mosque Signs Are ‘Sexist’ (News Shopper, March 27).
In response, I believe Khalida Shah (Saddened By Trivial Political Storm Over Separate Mosque Doors, News Shopper, April 10). The sentence “as a Muslim and for other Muslim brothers and sisters, this is not a problem”, says it all.
In other words, for Muslims this may not be an issue, but for English people who respect English culture it may well be.
Far from being a “trivial matter”, I think this highlights why multiculturalism is and always has been such a failure.
