Letter to the editor: Has anyone read the Urban Gravesham letter objecting to the planning application submitted by Edinburgh House?

Not many people I should think, given it is 45 pages long and quite possibly the most one-sided, distorted and biased view I have ever read.

It has taken carefully selected wordings from the application and scrutinised them in great detail on the basis of its own opinions.

Apparently, the members, all eight of them, voted to oppose the development — from a town of more than 100,000 people.

Urban Gravesham is meant to be a civic society.

My understanding of a civic society is a group acting in the best interest of its citizens which should include promoting positive initiatives. I for one can no longer take it seriously.
