Letter to the editor: I am glad to note your story (Plush Loos Won’t Flush, News Shopper, March 27) relating to the lack of toilet facilities at Bromley South station.
It is outrageous this situation continues indefinitely and no work has started to rectify the problem. All they seem capable of doing is apologising for the inconvenience.
Two letters to the station master remain unanswered and on the occasion I challenged an employee on the matter I was told to use the facilities in Wetherspoons.
I am astounded to learn the work has cost £4m. And for what? On one occasion I returned from a trade fair with a very heavy bag.
I intended to use the new lifts. Guess what? Out of order.
