Popular late-night chat show, The Graham Norton Show is back on screens tonight with his special New Year's Eve programme.

With a star-studded couch, the show is loved and praised for Norton's unique way to make guests comfortable and his quick wit. 

Last spotted on the red couch was Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks who chatted about his new role as "the grumpiest man in America" in A Man Called Otto, whilst Bafta winner Naomi Ackie discussed her new role as the iconic singer Whitney Houston in I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

Suranne Jones best known for her roles in Vigil and Doctor Foster chatted about her Christmas special, Christmas Carole, whilst presenter and writer Richard Osman promoted his latest book The Bullet That Missed. 

Last but not least, artist Rina Sawayama brought the music, performing her latest single and album title track, Hold the Girl. 

Who's on The Graham Norton Show today?

On Norton's New Year's Eve special, he is joined by stars of stage, screen and football pitch. 

Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman will make an appearance on the couch alongside cast-mate and Bafta rising star winner Micheal Ward. 

The pair star in the new drama Empire of Light directed by Skyfall and 1917 director Sam Mendes. 

Actor, writer and musician Hugh Laurie will chat with Norton, discussing his latest projects including the latest season of his Sky Comedy Avenue 5. 

Alongside that comedian Romesh Ranganathan will talk about his new comedy show Romantic Getaway which he stars alongside fellow comic Katherin Ryan. 

Captain of England's Lionesses, Leah Williamson will chat about the historic victory in the Euros earlier this year. 

Towards the end there will be a special performance from the cast of Cabaret from London's West End who will perform the songs Willkommen and Don’t Tell Mama from the show.

Cabaret stars It's a Sin actor Callum Scott Howells alongside Madeline Brewer who is most known for her role in the Netflix show Orange Is The New Black.
