Peter Kay fans have been left furious this morning (November 10) as ticket site O2 Priority crashes ahead of the comedian's pre-sale for his new tour.
It comes as the Bolton-born comic announced earlier this week that he would be doing his first tour in 12 years with over 20 dates announced across the UK.
With it being the comedian's first tour in over a decade, many fans have been eager to get tickets, as many look towards presale for their best chance.
However many were left disappointed this morning after O2 Priority website crashed when tickets were released.

Many quickly took to Twitter to share their frustration as one fan of Kay wrote: "Not impressed with O2 Priority site & app crashing an hour before presale starts. You’d have thought they have prepared for the surge in visitors for Peter Kay tickets."
Whilst another wrote: "How am I supposed to get my priority tickets for Peter Kay when the O2 priority app is down."
Another joked about the situation writing: "would have better luck breaking into Peter Kay’s house, holding him hostage and demanding a private stand-up gig than getting tickets through o2 this morning."
We’re seeing extraordinary demand for Peter Kay. We know customers are struggling to get on to our Priority website and app before 10am, we're working on it. Please be patient, thank you.

Since the app crashed, O2 have shared a statement on Twitter, writing: "We’re seeing extraordinary demand for Peter Kay. We know customers are struggling to get on to our Priority website and app before 10am, we're working on it. Please be patient, thank you."
A Virgin Media O2 spokesperson later said: “We’ve seen unprecedented levels of visitors to our Priority platform for Peter Kay tickets. As a result, some customers are experiencing difficulties trying to use the app and website despite us putting additional resource in place to help cope with such demand. We apologise and we’re doing everything we can to get it back up and running as soon as possible.”
With such high demands for the comic's presale, many will be concerned about the general sale which takes place on November 12 at 10am.
