Users of Royal Mail were reporting issues with the mail service’s online click and drop service on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Down Detector, issues started around 1pm with users experiencing issues with the click and drop service.
Click and Drop has been keeping users updated via its Twitter profile, explaining that the issue is being looked into.
The most recent message emphasised that the issue had been identified and that it hoped “to have the site back online as soon as possible.”

Problems were recorded by Royal Mail users across the UK on Down Detector including in Manchester and London.
Of the problems reported, 90% related to the website while 8% related to check-out.
A further 3% were reports relating with tracking.

Users took to Twitter with one writing: “Anyone else having issues with their Royal Mail 'Click and Drop'? It's been down since around 1pm.”
Another said: “Logged into @RoyalMail this morning to see other sellers account information and current orders and full order history. They’ve taken the click and drop site down. 90 orders I can’t send out today”

Other Twitter users asked what they should do since their collection could not go ahead.
One said: “@RoyalMail your click and drop site is down and I have labels to do before the collection in an hour. When will it be up and running? #royalmail @RoyalMailHelp”
Another said: “@RoyalMail @RoyalMailHelp click and drop website is down and so it's not possible to manifest. Our Collection is in 10 minutes. What do we do?”
