Santander is handing out a limited number of cash prizes worth £1.5k for one day only.
After over 1,000 hours and 5,000 recycled energy bills, TV duo Ant and Dec have been transformed into life-size origami statues, made purely from household bills.
Members of the public who find the statues in their city can scan a QR code to be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win one of 30 £1,500 cash prizes to help towards their utility bills.
For a limited time only, the origami Ant and Dec statues will be placed across cities in the UK on Friday, March 18.
Participating cities include Brighton New Road in Brighton, New Cathedral Street in Manchester, Bristol Cabot Circus Centre, Site G2 in Broadmead and Penn Street, Broadmead, Bristol.
It comes as Santander partners up with Mastercard to help customers win the chance to have their bills paid for a whole year.
The presenting pair feature within Santander’s latest ‘Bank of Antandec’ television advert highlighting how Santander are rewarding customers with cashback on their household bills through their 1|2|3 current accounts.
Dan Sherwood, director of marketing at Santander: “The seasoned banking CEO’s Ant and Dec are back and coming to a high street near you; this time in the form of origami.
"Spot the pair while out and enter for a chance to win one of 30 cash prizes of £1,500 towards your utility bills. You’ll need to be quick as they won’t be there for long.”
Meanwhile Agnes Woolrich, head of marketing, Mastercard UK & Ireland: “We are thrilled to be working with Santander to show how we can find joy in the everyday, who would have thought you could find the nation’s favourite duo made out of household bills?
"The Santander 1|2|3 Current Account and debit Mastercard are there for everyday moments big and small, giving customers peace of mind when they spend on the things that matter to them.”
