The Wanted has taken to social media to announce a new album and some live performances.

Formed in 2009, the band consisting of members Tom Parker, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes and Jay McGuiness.

A video was posted on Facebook with the message: “Here we go!! We are MEGA excited to announce that we are BACK and will be releasing our Greatest Hits Album on November 12th!! We’ll also be performing LIVE at the Royal Albert Hall as part of Tom Parker’s ‘Inside My Head’ concert. It’s been far too long… Let’s do this!”

The post was ended with a world globe and a flexed arm emoji.

Inside My Head will be hosted by Capital FM radio presenters Roman Kemp and Sonny Jay on September 20 2021. 

Former One Direction member Liam Payne will also be performing at the concert.

 

 

Tom Parker, 33, announced in October 2020 that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable, terminal brain tumour.

All proceeds of the Inside My Head concert will go to Stand Up For Cancer and The National Brain Appeal. 

In January, Parker announced in an Instagram post that there had been a “significant reduction” in the size of the tumour and that he was “responding well to treatment.”

Tickets are available on the Royal Albert Hall website and 50 per cent of ticket profits will go to Cancer Research UK in support of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
