FIRE crews were called to a blaze at a bakery in Orpington High Street last night.
They responded to a call after thick smoke was seen coming from behind Baker's Oven at around 10.30pm.
It appears an oven had caught fire after bread had been accidently left in too long. The loaves were severly blackened when crews arrived.
Orpington fire fighers also responded to a burst water main on Crofton Lane at around midnight last night.
The road was closed but has now been reopend.
