WHEELCHAIR users learned more about a country park’s history and natural history when they took a stroll through its meadows and woods.
Friends of Jubilee Country Park picked up the residents of Southmore Court, Southborough Lane, Petts Wood, before taking them on the fifth annual wheelchair walk.
Along the way they stopped off in the park’s picnic area for a chat and some rock cakes.
The friends group’s chairwoman Jennie Randall said: “This is a really fun event which brings a great deal of happiness to all those involved. “It would be great to see other friends of parks groups across Bromley arranging similar walks for people with mobility issues so that they too can access their local green space.”
The wheelchair walk first took place in 2008.
