Police are no longer investigating an alleged sexual assault in Foots Cray
A SECTION of Cray Road in Foots Cray was cordoned off by police on Saturday following rumours of a sexual assault.
Suggestions there had been a murder were also rife, but police told News Shopper they are not proceeding with any investigation.
A spokesman for the Met said: "Officers were investigating an alleged sexual assault in the Sidcup area on Saturday September 1.
"Following enquiries no evidence of sexual assault was discovered and no further action was taken by police."
