Police want to trace this man in connection with the incident
POLICE have released an image of a man they want to talk to after thieves stole cash from Marks and Spencer in Eltham.
The Eltham High Street theft, during which a member of the public who tried to intervene was punched in the face, happened on August 10 at around 2pm.
Two men were queuing at the Eltham High Street store to pay for their goods but, once at the till, one of them attempted to snatch money out of it.
The person at the checkout tried to close the till, but the man managed to grab some cash before running away.
Both men jumped into a car outside where a driver was waiting to make good their escape.
