A LOADING bay at Sainsbury’s supermarket in Pepper Hill, Northfleet, caught fire yesterday evening (August 28).
Firefighters were called to an area behind superstore, at Wingfield Bank, at 5:37pm.
A loading bay is where stock is delivered to the supermarket.
It took the crew less than twenty minutes to extinguish the fire, with them leaving the scene at 5:53pm.
