A MOTORCYCLIST dislocated his ankle after an act at a stunt show in Bexleyheath went wrong.
Paramedics were called to the Extreme Stunt Show, in Danson Park, to reports of a man having fallen from a bike shortly after 3pm on Sunday (August 26).
A freestyle motocross stunt was being performed at the time, which saw motorcyclists leaping over giant ramps in the middle of the arena.
Nineteen-year-old George Harris, from Cobham in Surrey, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich and underwent surgery for a dislocated ankle and compound fracture the same day (August 26).
An Extreme Stunt Show spokesman said: “We’d like to thank everybody in Bexleyheath for being so understanding.
“All the audience were very understanding and George is looking forward to coming back next year and performing in front of them again.”
