A2 reopened after police resolve earlier Dartford Heath bridge incident
THE A2 near Dartford has been reopened in both directions after police resolved an earlier incident on Dartford Heath Bridge.
It had been closed from around 11.30am due to a man threatening to jump from the bridge on to the road below.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Heath Lane and took the man away from the bridge.
Traffic is now said to be queuing eastbound with tailbacks to Riefield Road, Bexley.
