POLICE are appealing for help finding a 92-year-old woman dementia sufferer from Charlton.
Yau Tai Chiu was last seen at her home on August 23 and her family is becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Yau only speaks Cantonese and often uses buses and riverboats so may be sighted at bus stops or near piers in London.
She is described as being around four foot 11 inches tall, with grey hair, and was last seen wearing dark trousers, a brown blouse with flowers, brown sandals and gold earrings.
Officer in the case PC Carrie Roney said "Yau's family are extremely concerned about her welfare.
“She is a frail lady and may be distrustful of strangers. She may resist offers of help. If you see her, please contact us as soon as possible."
Anyone with information are urged to call the Greenwich Missing Person unit on
020 8287 7712 / 7713 or police on 101.
