Police are investigating after a vehicle full of youths in Sidcup ran amok, smashing car windows and wing mirrors last Tuesday night.
Residents of Wren, Farwell and Blackfen roads saw a black Renault Clio cruising their streets on the night of August 21 between 11.15 and 11.45pm, stopping only to attack parked cars with what appeared to be a baseball bat.
One victim who didn’t want to be named told News Shopper hundreds of pounds worth of damage had been done to her vehicle and others belonging to neighbours.
She hit out at "lowlifes going around destroying people’s property" and said there had also been a problem the previous week with youngsters jumping on cars.
A Bexley Police spokesman said: "We can confirm we are investigating a single report of criminal damage to a vehicle. We are appealing for any other witnesses to contact us."
Anyone with any information can contact the Sidcup Safer Neighbourhoods team on 0208 721 2567 or the Metropolitan Police on 101.
