POLICE in Greenwich are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Kidbrooke.

On August 17 at around 3am the victim was walking in Weyman Road, when a man suddenly attacked her. The victim managed to scream and run away.

The suspect is described as a black man, in his forties, wearing a grey and blue wool hat and a dark blue rain jacket.

He may have been with another man at the time of the attack.
