MEMBERS of the public for the second and last time this year will be able to visit HMS Ocean while it is situated off Greenwich for the Olympics.
Tomorrow (Aug 27) will see the general public able to visit the Royal Navy ship for free from 10am, with last entry to the ship at 4pm.
Visitors to the ship should go to the Old Royal Navy College Grounds, King William Walk, Greenwich, where bags will be searched before free boat transfers to the ship from Greenwich Pier will be provided.
HMS Ocean advises the event will not be suitable for visitors with mobility difficulties, due to the ascending of ladders around the ship.
Visitors are also advised to arrive early due to expected queues, and entry may not be guaranteed due to popularity.
