DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a gang of thieves rollerskated into a New Cross store and made off with drinks and sweets.
The rollerskating robbers attacked staff at Costcutters in New Cross Road - who tried to stop them making off with the sugary loot - leaving the manager with serious facial injuries.
The scene - where other staff members were injured too - was captured on CCTV and police are keen to speak to anyone who recognises the suspects.
The incident took place on July 28 at around 7.30pm.
Detective Constable Abraham Pino, of Lewisham CID, said: "We are keen to trace these suspects and I am appealing for witnesses or anyone who knows who these individuals are to come forward with information."
