COURT dates have been set for a group of teenagers accused of being armed when they were arrested by police outside a McDonald's restaurant.
Officers from the Met Police Trident unit arrested five boys in Eltham High Street on August 17 at around 5pm.
Two Grove Park youths aged 16 and 17 were charged with possession of a firearm and appeared at Bexleyheath Magistrates' Court on Monday (August 20).
They were remanded in custody and will appear at Bromley Youth Court on September 17.
Ajibola Michael Adeniyi, aged 18, of Blanchard Close, Mottingham, was charged with possession of a knife and will appear at Bexleyheath Magistrates' Court on September 7.
Two other youths have been bailed pending further inquiries.
