A BUS service has invested £660,000 in five new buses to operate between Bluewater and Orpington.
Arriva will use the new buses for its 477 service, which stops at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford Town Centre, Wilmington, Swanley, Hextable, Crockenhill and St Mary Cray.
The 41-seat buses took to the road on Friday (August 24) and are fully-accessible with comfortable seats and environmentally-friendly engines.
Arriva’s managing director, Heath Williams, said: "I’m delighted we have once again been able to make a major investment in new buses for our services in north west Kent.
"These are the latest in an ongoing programme of upgrading our fleet and will offer new standards of comfort to our customers on the 477 route which provides important links to Darent Valley Hospital, Bluewater and town centres and rail stations along its route."
