WITH the country at fever pitch over London 2012, adults with learning and physical disabilities showed off their sporting prowess at their own mini Olympics.
A team of residents from Park Road home, Park Road, Bromley, took part in a series of races against people from other Sanctuary Supported Living homes.
And with their outfits they made sure to embrace the Team GB sports spirit as well as the diversity of their home.
The home’s manager Jackie Ames said: “It was a wonderful day and they really enjoyed it.
“The atmosphere was amazing and they loved taking part in the games.
“They couldn’t stop taking about it all the way home to Bromley.”
The event took place at the army’s Prince Philip Barracks in Hampshire.
