POLICE have released an e-fit of a man they want to trace after a mother pushing her child was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.
Officers in Bexley are appealing for information and witnesses for the attack which happened on July 30.
The 39-year-old victim was crossing a flyover towards Bexley Village from Hall Place with her child in a pushchair between 1pm and 1.20pm.
A man, believed to be aged between 27 and 33, approached her and engaged her in conversation before sexually assaulting her.
He is described as an overweight white man, around 5ft 5ins, with short dark brown hair, clean shaven and at the time of the assault was wearing mid-tone blue jeans and orange/red striped t-shirt.
The man headed into the village, turning left towards Foots Cray Meadows.
