A STAR of The Apprentice television show dropped in to help youngsters build up their architecture skills today.
Gabrielle Omar oversaw the architecture and design day at Plumstead Manor School, part of a summer-long programme of courses commissioned by Greenwich Council and delivered by educational charity Futureversity.
The 29-year-old taught drawing classes to a group of students aged from 13 to 19.
Ms Omar said: "I’m teaching on this course because I’m passionate about design and young people.
"When I look back I probably had very little confidence throughout my school years.
"I was very shy and never had the confidence to present my work to a teacher.
"That’s why these courses are so important because they can be a life-changing experience in reinforcing confidence, motivation and talent. Every part of the country should have schemes like this."
