YOUNGSTERS in Thamesmead have celebrated the end of a successful week-long junior tennis course.
Run by Sporting Club Thamesmead, it was led by coaches from Shooters Hill Tennis Club and held in Crossways Park.
The course concluded with prizes being awarded to all the children involved.
Organiser Luke House said: "It’s been a great week. All the children have been really engaged, keen to learn and to develop their tennis skills."
Development worker Dan Wells, from Sporting Club Thamesmead, added: "This, to my knowledge, is the first time for a long while that organised tennis skills have been taught in Crossway Park, and to have the course to full capacity has been fantastic."
