A DEPARTMENT store has joined others across London in raising money for the NSPCC children’s charity.
Customers of the Lewisham store are collecting unwanted items of clothing and donating them to Clothes Aid in order to raise cash.
They can then call the Clothes Aid helpline on 08450 722 780 for a convenient collection time.
In return for their customers’ generosity, a £5 BHS voucher will be given for every bag of clothing that is donated.
The scheme runs until September 30 and vouchers for the Lewisham store will be valid until October 31.
Through this scheme the NSPCC will be raising £300 for every tonne of clothing that is donated to them.
All money raised by BHS Lewisham customers will help raise money for ChildLine to carry on their work in fighting against child abuse.
