POLICE in Bexley are appealing for information and witnesses following an attempted sexual assault in broad daylight.
The victim, a 16-year-old girl, was walking down the cinder path running between Frobisher Road and Slade Green Road at 4pm on Sunday August 12.
A man believed to be in his forties then approached the victim and grabbed her, threatened her with a knife and attempted to sexually assault her.
The suspect is described as white, around 6ft tall and wearing scruffy clothing.
He ran off in the direction of the stairs leading to Frobisher Road.
