PEOPLE can find out more about funding for high street schemes in Sydenham, Kirkdale and Forest Hill on August 23.
Last month, the streets were awarded money under the government's Portas Pilot scheme to improve local shopping areas.
Residents and businesses are invited to a 7.30pm celebration at the Horniman Museum, London Road, Forest Hill, where they can also get involved with the projects.
Once there you can join the town team or find out about market stalls, testing your business on the high street, workshops, volunteering and offering out empty shops.
Town team member Louise Brooks from marketing firm Bake Consulting, said: "We want everyone who believes they have an idea to make a real difference to our shopping areas to come forward and get involved."
