A 21-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court to deny stabbing Carmel Charles to death in Catford last November.
Police officers were called to Ravensbourne Park at around 2pm on November 19 last year to reports of an assault.
Once officers arrived, they discovered Ms Charles suffering from stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Richard Henry was later charged with the murder and appeared at the Old Bailey today (Aug 15) where he denied killing Ms Charles.
Henry, of Sussex House, Ravensbourne Park, Catford, was remanded in custody to face trial for the killing on January 14 next year.
