PART-time firefighters are being recruited at Swanley fire station.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) are calling for more on-call firefighters to be based at the station, in London Road.
The role of an on-call firefighter means you must be able to get to Swanley fire station within five minutes if emergency arises during your contracted hours.
Swanley firefighter Michael Leary said: “There’s sometimes a bit of a stereotype of who can be an on-call firefighter and we want to challenge that.
“This could be a great job for all kinds of people - if anyone is looking for extra shifts, or perhaps an additional challenge over and above the day job, this could be for them.”
All candidates must be over 18, physically fit and have good levels of reading and writing.
For those interested, an open evening will be held at Swanley fire station on August 23, between 7pm and 9pm.
