MOTORISTS face long delays during this evening's rush hour after a petrol tanker hit the central reservation on the M25.
Emergency services were called to the clockwise motorway between junction two at the Darenth Interchange and junction three at the Swanley Interchange at 3.30pm today (August 14).
The clockwise motorway is currently blocked while lane four is out-of-action on the anti-clockwise stretch.
A Highways Agency spokesman confirmed the tanker – the only vehicle involved - hit the central reservation and has come to rest at an angle.
Ambulance services have attended the scene although it is currently unknown whether anyone is injured.
