HOUSEHOLDS are being reminded to return their electoral registration forms to be able to vote.
Residents are being urged to respond online, by phone or by post as soon as possible to ensure their names stay on the electoral register.
For the first time people have the option to have their details permanently excluded from the edited register - preventing individuals and commercial organisations buying the information.
Bexley's chief executive, Will Tuckley said: "We want to make sure that no one in Bexley runs the risk of losing their vote.
"Registering is very simple and can be done online or by using a freephone number if your details have not changed.
"If the households details have changed the form simply needs to be updated and returned to us as soon as possible."
